If you're living in the Southern California area, you are probably well aware of the saturation rains that have been occurring non-stop since last Friday.
While this promises to make this Winter and Spring a good season for waterfalling, we do have to emphasize safety and respect for hazards when trying to see waterfalls at full flow. This is especially true when waterfalling in stormy weather (sometimes it's better not to force it).
We've had our share of close calls, but this article talking about waterfallers who had to be air rescued in Trabuco Canyon (near Holy Jim Falls) further illustrates this point.
